Formed in late autumn of '08, Little Red Wolf brings together the collective hard working, hard rocking talents of four Madison-area musicians. Through sheer force of will and their lyrical, multi-instrumental ways, the band is poised to take the scene by charming storm.
Combining elements of rock, bluegrass, alt-country, and the harmony-heavy vocals of swing-era ensembles, Little Red Wolf offers something entirely new and unique without forgetting their roots. Their music has been described as “distinctive and melodic,” and “really ambitious, especially in the vocal department, and they pull it off beautifully.”
The band can trace their influences to everyone from Neko Case to Jeff Buckley, Sarah McLachlan to Loretta Lynn, Rilo Kiley to Tegan and Sara. Ultimately, though, they're always working to put their own unique spin on things.

Sexy Ester and The Pretty Mama Sisters is made up of a five piece band that was called "a straight ahead classic rock outfit" by Madison's weekly alternative newspaper, The Isthmus. The band is fronted by powerhouse female lead vocals that were dubbed, "a Freddie Mercury-meets-Janis Joplin sort of sound that’s both powerful and beautiful" by popular Madison website www.TheDailyPage.com. Sexy Ester and The Pretty Mama Sisters recently received a Gold Artist Award form The RadioIndy.com Reviewer Team who reviewed the band's debut album and concluded, "“Get Your Love On” by Sexy Ester and the Pretty Mama Sisters is a collection full of original, melodic pop/rock music. Lead vocals are strong and powerful, which lends a distinctive element to this group’s sound." Sexy Ester, influenced by everything from Folk and Classic Rock to Indie Pop, appeals to a wide variety of fans playing to packed houses across Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois.
Shane Shane
How to describe Shane Shane? It's just one guy - Shane O'Neill - plus seemingly endless number of cardboard props, boundless energy, electro-synth beats, hilarious lyrics, and plenty of daring-do. Shane also fronts local rockers Screamin' Cyn Cyn and the Pons. He pretty much has to be seen to be believed.
