Tampa metal band 16 Second Stare will heat up a cold November with a run of tour dates that include appearances with Kiss legend Ace Frehley and ‘80s rock legend Don Dokken as the group puts the finishing touches on its second album, simply titled 16 Second Stare.
These ever-rising, bone-shaking, thunderous rockers just came off Motley Crue’s Crue Fest 2 tour and earlier in the year with Brian ‘Head’ Welch from Korn, scoring rave reviews and winning new fans.
16 Second Stare will join Ace Frehley between November 5 – 13 for performances and then Thanksgiving weekend jaunt with Don Dokken from his former self-named band Dokken along with former guitarist for Dokken Lynch Mob November 27–29.
The upcoming sophomore work 16 Second Stare is slated for release first quarter 2010. The powerful new work reflects the more aggressive vibe of the band’s recently revamped lineup. Meanwhile, the band’s latest single “Complicated” is picking up airplay at Smart Modern Rock and alternative rock radio outlets including Sirius Satellite’s Octane channel. The group is currently offering a special 3-song single download package in its
online store for just $3.50.
16 Second Stare made its impressive debut with the 2008 indie release Red Carpet Material, which found fans across the country thanks to rock radio airplay for two of the album’s most raging tracks, the title song and “Ballad Of Billy Rose,” both matched by Detroit-born and raised Shanks delivering a passionate closing ballad in “Goodbye.”
16 Second Stare, which brings riveting pumping fists in the air as they unleash fine fury wherever they play. Catch them on tour as they explode.
