Madison Family Literacy's mission is to assure that families who begin with a low level of education are able to participate in the full life and economy of our city. We empower families through an integrated program of early childhood classes, basic adult education, and parenting and pre-employment instruction. Comprehensive outcome studies have shown that this intensive approach has enabled participants to become integral members of our local economy while their children have been able to close academic gaps that often accompany poverty and low parental
literacy.
