Lauren Cnare the Consensus Builder? I'd like to see an example of that.
All you have to do is watch a rerun of the Channel 12 election night coverage, she claims this title herself!!

When some of my friends in the past have held this position, they'd invariably go on about the thankless, largely meaningless nature of the title.
Now one of them starts a thread about the intrigue surrounding it like it's a hotly contested succession battle in the House of Tudor to determine which heir will ascend to the throne.
Weird.

The intrigue is that no one wants it, most people who have done it know to run away . . . lauren cnare wants president, maybe bruer, and no one wants pro tem . . . at least that is the word at the moment . . .

I never watch Channel 12 anymore, but I second the nomination for Skidmore and Compton only because they're held up as shining examples of "common sense" by right-wing radio talkers in this town.
Compton, it seems, is constantly trashing her colleagues as being out of touch with reality. I'd love for the city to get a sense of her view of the real world.

Sounds like the commissioner position in my fantasy football league. Hopefully Cnare doesn't read the forum.

I personally like Zach Brandon's common sense approach and would advise the council members to vote for him (if he would like to run).

Well, he certainly doesn't have your charisma. The time I saw you testify at the Council Meeting â?? using only the name Shane (Alan Ladd is turning over in his grave) I seriously wondered how far off stage your guardian was standing with his net and leash.
You retarded putz . . . if you had been standing outside the tomb, Jesus would have turned around and gone back in.
