Worst possible song to get stuck in your head

If it doesn't fit anywhere else, it fits here

"(You're) Having My Baby"

(But you wouldn't of course if the rape were legitimate ...)

“Walk Like an Egyptian”
The Bangles, 1986

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yVrNV_5LhNE&feature=related

It’s either the tambourine or the whistling that keeps my head listening over and over again.

Damn the 80s, my big hair, and all my fucking eye makeup!

I kinda like it set to “Remember the Time”

RIP Mista Jackson

I enjoy "Walk Like an Egyptian." It's a lively tune in the grand tradition of songs about dance moves. It is, though, a sad reminder of what happened to the Bangles after they let their handlers take over. The group's EP and debut album feature smartly crafted guitar pop and glorious harmonies. It's great music, even if the songs are fairly narrowly conceived 1960s pastiches that likely represented an artistic dead end. I don't think the ladies found the right way out on their subsequent 1980s releases, what with the outside songwriters and the synthesizers and the hair.
