So we spent all day raking and moving dirt, then got all our grass seed planted in the front and partial back yard as well, covered with hey and watered. ...........Then at the spur of the moment we said, lets order a Rockys pizza to celebrate are hard work all day.
Long story short, the pizza came just after dark, we paid and even tipped 5 dollars and had dinner. However when we woke and headed out front to admire our work we were greeted by 6 to 12 inch deep tire tracks all over our fresh seeded and hayed lawn!!!. The kid had tore up our front yard pretty good with his car, we even followed his footprints tru the seedlings and mud right up to the front door.!! Of course he mentioned nothing the night before, took our money and left.
Now the fun part. I called 5 times over the next 2 weeks and reached the assistant manger every time. The first contact was like OMG let me get the GM to call you and take care of this mishap. I received no call and called back and got the same tune from the same manager the next 3 calls, how sorry she was and that the GM would surly call you back. The 5th time I called there was a change!! When I called and said whom was calling she said (asst Manager) , with excitement in her voice ": he called you Sunday" (the GM) didn't you talk to him? I said no..? no I didn't...? . I said I could check my answering machine and all of a sudden she basically excuse herself then and hung up...?
After checking we concluded there were no messages left from Rockys and no sign of a missed call from them ether. I even explained to her in one of our phone calls that my company spends $1000s of dollars a year at there restaurants for employee functions and big jobs when we feed our employs.
My question...? I like Rockys pizza and have been eating it for many years but do have my pride. Does this deserve a boycott from me and my company and will it even make a difference in a company that obviously feels its big enough to to walk over the little guy, wreck his morning and make him feel really bad, cheated and ripped off and not worry about making it right with him?
I have heard nothing more, or ever actually from the GM at Rockys on the west beltline since my last call over a week and half ago.
Thanks allot Rockys, all we wanted was a pizza. We have still not had the time to fix what you wrecked. The grass has grown in by now except for the tire tracks from your driver and it looks terrible!
