Tiger. Rawr!

Postby fisticuffs » Fri Feb 19, 2010 3:55 pm

Anyone catch his news conference? Favre is more convincing when he talks about giving up football than Tiger was about giving up sex with random hotties.

Here's my beef. Who the fuck cares? Does tiger Golf with his dick? No. Then why do I care what he does with it. Adultery is bad. Family is certainly hurt but is this the first time this has happened? Is this the first family torn apart by an adulterous spouse? In a lot of circumstances something like this could have a much much bigger impact on the kids. Not everyone is the wealthiest athlete in the world. Some kids not only get to deal with mom and dad splitting up they get to move into two smaller crappier homes, in tow crappier neighborhoods. Mom and Dad may have to take second crappier jobs to pay their increased bills. Woods kids have to spit their time between two mansions on two different private islands.

Ed Schultz asked the question today "What if this was your kid"? I've got an answer for him. If tiger was my kid I'd still be comfortable living in the house he bought for me and sleeping on the piles of money.

My beef is that I don't agree with them all being hot. A couple were decidedly not hot. Wasn't one supposedly a Denny's or Perkin's waitress or something?

And porn stars? Is having sexual relations with a porn star that great?

Dude's Tiger f-ing Woods.

Wait a sec ... now there's a male porn star fucking Tiger Woods?
Sorry about your cold beef. Maybe Tiger needs you to be his Pussy Liaison or something - like David Lee Roth used to have. I heard Tiger promised that waitress the moon over his salami.

And to whom are you directing that question about having sex with porn stars to?

I just heard a little bit about it on the radio at the top of some hour, but the part that puzzled me was one of his affairs held some news conference of her own, sounded all sad, and complained that she deserved something like one more face to face with him. Huh? Where in the Code of Adultery does it say she deserves anything?

Most likely, she is still in denial that the biggest fish she will ever bring to the boat is gone, and no amount of casting and changing lures will bring it back.

Egads, it has come to the point where tacky groupies are getting the headlines for their "15 minutes of fame" for porking a famous person. I mean, really, who CARES? These women are a bunch of nobody's with the ethics of a flea in heat. They did Tiger Woods because he's, well, rich and famous Tiger Woods, and they saw a chance for some money and/or fame. He was absolutely stupid to be so careless about this but he's not the first famous man (or woman) to go down that path. He probably felt he was "entitled" to the groupie action because he's so rich and famous. Tiger Woods: shut up, stay out of the media, get your head (okay, both of them) in a place you are comfortable with, and get back to work. You know, I'm not even interested in golf, but Tiger Woods is best on the golf course in the world and that's where he needs to be. Don't know about his marriage and kids. His sleezy lifestyle choice may have ended that.

Aah. Another worthy term I haven't heard for 25 years. Thank you.

In the grand scheme of things Tiger only gets his "15 minutes" as well. Is hitting a golf ball well more worthy of that 15 than fucking?

If you've tried both, the answer is "yes".

This is enough already. Tiger Woods is trying to overcome his lack of responsibility for his actions. The Media (and some refused to attend because he said HE WOULD NOT ANSWER QUESTIONS) are playing this for their own pleasure. And when he asked them to leave his family, kids and wife alone, not one of the attendees even got it. And later, the pondits forgot to analize that message. Let him go back to doing what he is doing to get his life in balance. As he said in the conference, the questions people want to ask concerning his marraige, and other things are between him and his wife. The media can go chase Letterman or Clinton and find out if they ever got over their sexual lifestyle. And of course John Edwards. Why is everone bent on making Tiger Woods misadventure so important? There are other bigger adulterers out there to harrass.

Nope, there's a long way to go. His first press conference (or maybe Barbara Walters or Oprah one on one) will be especially scrutinized.

Nope, no one else comes close.

Really? Seems to me there was a basketball star who had thousands of extra-marital encounters. And he wrote a book on it. Michael Jordan comes to mind, but I could be wrong. Dislike basketball - never tall enough to play.

People gave Wilt Chamberlain some minor harassment not because of his affairs, but because he exaggerated it in his book.

Golf and BB are apples and oranges. I think part of it is due to the tradition of the tournament winners kissing their wives and children on the 18th green. With a guy like Tiger who wins a lot we've seen a lot of his wife on the 18th green.

And he's had no problem playing on his squeaky clean image to sell us shit.

Oh well, forgot Chamberlain. But then there's Clinton and even Kennedy. I really feel bad about Kennedy. I liked him. And there are lots of Repubs out there too. Power must increase some men's libido. And perhaps some women. Though they seem to keep that information out of the news.

I'd like to see Tiger repent before a real God, like Jesus or Exxon. Wha, wha....Buddha this, Buddha that. Well, Buddha didn't help you realize that pleasure is but an illusion and life is suffering, nor did he stop you from pouncing on easy tail. Did he?

Tiger needs to apologize to his family. The rest of us should get back to watching our reality shows.

Rabble, right on. Though reality shows don't interest me. I do like fishing and gardening - so it's time to start the seedlings. Thanks for the reminder to return to our own lives.
