Before the Devil knows You're Dead

anyone see this? I really liked it, even though I was confused at first. I used to really dislike Ethan Hawke, but he changed my mind a little.

just saw this yesterday - very enjoyable.
felt like it was easy to get caught up in the intensity of the "were so screwed" feelings of the brothers.
i believe this was based on a true story - i'm not sure how accuratley though. some loose ends were never tied up. i wondered what became of ethan hawke's character and the father.

A pretty good, intense movie.
But the music score was practically a note-by-note ripoff of the score from Silence of the Lambs.

A very well-acted film with a terrible ending.

I watched this yesterday. It felt a little long, and it's not exciting so much as an emotional rollercoaster that only spirals downward. The acting was good.

Go fuck yourself, and while you are fucking yourself, spend a little time learning how to use the shift key.

my not using the shift key doesn't prevent you from comprehending what i write.

you not knowing how to properly use commas, periods and semicolons is a problem.

see, go fuck yourself is a sentence. go fuck yourself. period. as a horrible stand-up comedian you're probably quite familiar with it. this might ring some bells:

'you suck mike schmitt! go fuck yourself! get off of the stage you worthless piece of shit!'

Oh, I see how it is! I disagree with you, and then you follow me from thread to thread making ever expanding personal attacks!

I pray that your mother had the wherewithal to ask a radiologist to point an X-ray machine at your genitals every chance she got.

And Bucky, if you want to heckle me, you can come to my show. But that won't change the fact that you are a spastic case and seem, well, a little obsessive.

Speaking of spastic, how about those transitional shots in the film?

this is why you are not funny. a joke has to make sense to be funny. my mother deciding that i should be sterile at a young age simply makes no sense in this world or any other.

No, Corky, it makes perfect sense. She didn't want that extra chromosome slithering on down to any future generations on the evolution chain.

Wow Bucky, you walked into that one. Why don't you stop flailing and discuss the movie.

Instead of trying to impress me by repeating the name of the director, why don't say what you liked and did not like about the movie.
