I called it "pop" as a kid in Green Bay, but started calling it "soda" after I made a friend in Milwaukee who pointing out how lame it sounded to call it "pop." I also like "frosty beverage."

Soda. I called it pop as a kid, but now that sounds silly. I prefer coke but once in a while I get a taste for RC. When I've been smokin I like to use the full name, coca-cola. It just rolls out of your mouth. Coca-cola. Yes, I'd like a coca-cola.

And if you're looking for the tyme machine, it's right over there by the bubbler.

coca-cola.

Hey, is that an eagle!

Soda now, pop then. The funniest thing about this thread is that I'd forgotten about it, and thinking it was a new thread I was all like

"OMG, S SKWEEZER is BACK!"

Sorry, didn't mean to scare you.

I merely ran across a great story about the cult of Tab and immediately remembered Duca's post about the stuff. I found a post about Tab and added a reply, not noticing I was reviving a blissfully dormant, two-year-old thread in the process.

As it turns out, this much more recent thread was actually where I had read the praise for Tab. (Or TaB, as many of its drinkers seem to prefer emulating the typography of the logo.)

Ha, thanks for the link, mrak. One of my coworkers is hooked on Tab Energy Drink, and I'll admit to sneering at the stuff while refusing to try it.
