What is going on with the bridge on Milwaukee st.? It has been like the moon landing since last fall, we are well into construction season already and there are no signs that anyone is in a hurry to fix it. What gives?

They're working on it, or so they say.If you're not paying attention and neglect to slow down, your car can get some wicked sweet air going over them bumps. Bitchin'!

Ah sweet, finally! I feel like my shocks are gonna give every time I go to woodmans. I love how they have one sign pointing out just one bump.

My theory is that organized crime has infiltrated the construction racket. They're milking this job for all it's worth!

will begin Monday, April 20, and should be finished by the end of May.
General contractor Lunda Construction plans to keep at least one lane of traffic open in each direction during peak commuting times over the bridge, but may use flag holders during other times of the day to maintain two-way traffic. They sure timed it perfectly with the constuction, lane closings, and delays on Hwy 30 Aberg Av and 151. Now I need to find anothter alternate route. And while I'm at it, could they possibly plan garbage pickup on Milwaukee Street to be ANY time except during possibly the busiest morning rush time between 7:45a-8:15a. End rant.

Do not understand why they couldn't get this done last year but, yep, they're working on it again for the next few weeks, and with East Wash, 30, AND Milwaukee Street under construction, you can't get there from here!

Now that might be the basis for a sequel to my novel "IVD", a suspense-thriller primarily taking place on the East Side about a Mafia plot to assassinate a supermarket mogul with an exploding DVD. http://www.squidoo.com/my-novel-IVD

I read about your novel in the East Side News. It looks like fun and I agree, you might be able to use this for the sequel!
