Can you run to the left of Tammy Baldwin?

It's that time again, and it's approaching faster than ever.

Can you run to the left of Tammy Baldwin?

Postby Bad Gradger » Mon Nov 02, 2009 11:55 pm

Dave deFelice thinks so. Sure, she's the 13th most liberal member of the House, at least in terms of her voting record, but that shouldn't stop a guy from challenging her because she just isn't loud enough.

Maybe the better question is, "Can you run to the left of Tammy and reasonably expect to win a primary?" I'd say no, but I'd be interested to read a contrary opinion.

I served with David De Felice on county board. He's in love with the mirror but only when he's standing in front of it. He must see something there that no one else can divine. Madame Brenda has a good comment on her blog today ... if he wants to run to the left of St. Tammany then why did he vote last night against restoring $1.8 million to county human services?

This campaign doesn't seem to be getting any traction yet. Anyone know who he's talking to to find encouragement? Any Dems really in league with Supervisor de Felice on this effort?
