I don't like their food, but the Brits have a wicked wit

Races for the Senate, U.S. House, etc. and other issues of national importance.

I don't like their food, but the Brits have a wicked wit

Romney has made himself the mockery of London and the Brits in general.

For god's sake search:

#Romneyshambles and #Americanborat on Twitter right now. A++ entertainment.

Cassidy is on this:

But other British papers have been equally critical of Romney, including the conservative ones that are apt to be sympathetic to Republicans. A columnist at the Daily Telegraph—a.k.a. The Torygraph—called him a “wazzock,” a term of abuse that I hadn’t heard since my childhood in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
According to some accounts, a wazzock, in the original usage, was a bull’s penis. When I was young, it was used to describe a hapless idiot who blunders around doing and saying things he or she shouldn’t. Wazzocks don’t necessarily have bad intentions, but they tend to bring trouble to themselves and others. Romney, for all his business success and Harvard degrees, sometimes seems to fit the description. Clearly, he didn’t mean to insult his British hosts when he sat down with Brian Williams on Wednesday. But didn’t he think about how his words would be taken?

Any news on when the U.S. economy might turn around?

At least he didn't comment on the height of their trees. He is doing a good job of raising foreign money from disgraced banking criminals for his campaign. I'll give him that.

It did since Bush left office.

Also, I didn't realize foreign relations wasn't a part of the presidents job.

Yes.
New optimism that leaders in Europe will take decisive action to address their debt crisis and the Fed will act to help the faltering U.S. economy pushed stocks higher for a second day Friday.

If he can avoid invading the wrong country, that's pretty good.

Interesting to recall Pres Obama made a visit to Great Britain early in his term, met the queen, visited his mother's ancestral town and had a beer with the locals, and otherwise conducted himself so that his visit was favorably received by most. Now we get a direct comparison thanks to Romney's decision to visit (and to try for some publicity at the same time).

Nice fitness test in a competition for an office where international relations are part of the job description.

I actually feel sort of sorry for Romney on a personal level -- he's socially inept, clueless, and tone deaf, and he can't possibly want to be. If he were suited for the presidency in other ways you could overlook it or make it sort of endearing, but... well, it's a big part of a job where diplomacy counts heavily, and he's managed to lose GB even before being elected.

In my opinion, this whole thing is just ridiculous. If you look this here, you will see that they are also linking to that twitter page.

Hello,

I am new here. When I tried the first twitter account that you mentioned, it says account no longer exists or something. Are you sure you spelled it right?
