That festering, abscessed tooth sure took a long time to remove.

The whole jaw feels better now.

Don't get too confident. The infection's account remains active, and I trust it's on vacation and will return shortly, painful as ever.

Admin, don't you think this is a better forum this week than it has been for the past few months? Why would you not take steps to sustain the improvement?

My apologies for being correct this time.

Sigh.

At least we have a better idea who's behind the food-named account thing.

Why is this poster still allowed, when all the other most obnoxious trolls have eventually been shut down? I smell some kind of blackmail.

No, bdog, I am not Cornbread or anyone else. I've never used a sock puppet or a pseudonym, nor have I ever nicknamed myself on any forum anywhere. I am, however, amused by the paranoia of forons like snoqueen and others, and by the quasi-repressed illiberal attitudes their paranoia reveals.

Edit for correction: In the early days of the world wide web, on an AOL bobdylan.rec forum, I used the pseudonym, "allowedtobefree".

Thank you Meade.

Sno, do you accept that Meade is not Cornbread?

I'm leaning toward the same theory. Someday when I have way, way too much time I'm going to comb through some of the spouse's writings for stylistic similarities and tics (which I expect to find in abundance) but I'm going to do it from a library terminal not my own computer. And I don't have that much spare time these days.

And who cares.

b, ask him something he'd understand. Ask him if his spouse is Cornbread?

Cornbread's account has been deactivated due to a recent spasm of homophobic and idiotic posts, some of which have been deleted from the site.

If you aren't aware of what they were, I'm not surprised. He posted many of them on a beautiful weekend afternoon, when a lot of us were spending time with friends and family, attempting to extract the most out of these final weeks of summer.

Once again, I challenge those of you who asked for this to happen to fill the void with really good content. If you had a problem with how he participated here, then seek to do the opposite:

- Don't be a jerk.
- Write well.
- Don't feed the trolls.
- Seek to be entertaining, provocative and inquisitive.
- The rest of us know who the donkeys are, so it's not really necessary to point them out over and over again. Do you think doing so is entertaining or informative? It's not. Avoid.

It is very possible that Sno is Cornbread and doesn't even realize it:

Dissociative identity disorder (DID), also known as multiple personality disorder,[1] is a mental disorder characterized by at least two distinct and relatively enduring identities or dissociated personality states that alternately control a person's behavior, and is accompanied by memory impairment for important information not explained by ordinary forgetfulness. These symptoms are not accounted for by substance abuse, seizures, other medical condition or fantasy behavior in children.[2] Diagnosis is often difficult as there is considerable comorbidity with other mental disorders.
