OK, multi-talented forons. Fess up.

I'm a guitarist/bassist/vocalist. 8)

Minimal talent on the drums, can't just go adding slashes without backing it up with the goods.

Who's doin' what these days? Why do you do it? Isn't one freaking instrument enough? What do you feel most comfortable playing? Does playing one instrument make it easier to play others?

I find that going back to playing guitar is weird now. It's like a cute little toy. I do think it's difficult to go back and retain any feel I may have had before I switched to bass.

I hate those fuckers that can play EVERYTHING well.

I'm a humble singist/bassist/ukulelist/three-chord-guitarist/magnus organist/musical sawist. Jackie of all trades, master of none.

Steve Burke is my multi-instrumentalist/everythingist hero.

I'm a drummer that switched to guitar because I was sick of all of my old bands not playing the kind of music that I was into. I've been drumming for about 14 years, and "playing" guitar for close to 10 years now. I taught myself how to play everything by watching other musicians and by ear. However, I have finally decided to take guitar lessons and attempt to learn how it's supposed to be played (I start this weekend).
I don't play drums as often as I would like, but I've got a couple of projects here and there to keep me satisfied. I'm not as comfortable with singing or playing guitar, but comfortable enough to write and perform with confidence. The coolest thing about being able to play all of these instruments is being able to do my own recordings where I play everything. It's cool to be able to hear you jam with yourself.

Vocalist/asshole, no doubt. But as Princess once pointed out (paraphrasing) "not only can't I dance to this music, I can't even bob my head to it!" Perhaps some people are assholes because lazy musicians wallow in their own crap unless harshly criticized.

I think Blunt's got me beat (pun intended). I'll still show for auditions though. A guy's gotta know who all the cocksuckers are out there.

On an entirely unrelated note, I'm listening to Public Enemy's Fear of a Black Planet and the shit still kicks my ass. So add "public enemist" to my list too.

911 is a joke, y'all ...

In my current unit I slash on vocals/keytar/pocket trumpet, but I don't do any of them well enough to draw attention away from lead thereminist Geoff Brady. My role is soon going to expand to include second-chair theremin. Besides the above, I also know how to mediocrely play guitar, bass (though I don't currently own one), euphonium (probably my strongest instrument), and accordion. I am looking for somebody to teach me how to play piccolo cowbell next.
