While senate confirmation hearings can be tricky, there's nothing complicated about participating in the Madison's Favorites poll. Fill in the blanks... that's basically it. You'll be doing your fellow citizens a real service, sharing your knowledge and experience about where to go and what to do. Poll answers will be published in August in the Annual Manual and here on TheDailyPage.com. We must receive your votes by 5 pm on Thursday, June 18.

Yes, there is a catch: To be valid, ballots must have at least 20 categories filled in.

Deadline: Wednesday, June 18, 5:00pm

Instructions for online voting:

1. Click the "REGISTER" button below to register for a password. Unfortunately, you can NOT use your Forum or TDP login for Madison's Favorites. We do this to prevent multiple ballots. We also ask you for some personal information, but only to prevent ballot stuffing and to try and pull together some idea of what kind of people are voting. This information will be kept private by Isthmus.
2. After you fill in and submit the registration form, your password will be emailed to you.
3. Once you sign in with your username (same as your email address) and password, you'll be able to vote. There are over 100 questions on the ballot and you'll need to fill in at least 20 blanks for your ballot to count.
4. When you've completed your ballot, click the SUBMIT button at the bottom. You'll be taken to a confirmation page which includes your email address and a unique number.
