Today's image is titled Monona Terrace and was photographed by D. Shawn Kennedy.
This photo shows a classic pairing of Madison's most recognizable landmarks: the Capitol dome and Monona Terrace. It freezes for posterity one nighttime moment as dozens of jets shoot water in the central fountain atop the terrace's William T. Evjue Rooftop Garden. The scene literally be frozen before too long, as the season is slowly winding down on the roof of the downtown convention center. A mere handful of weeks remain before the garden closes for the winter, so get up there before it's cold and closed.
