Most areas around Madison received more than a foot of snow as winter storms whipped through the region on Friday and Saturday nights. And, of course, there were a few people with their cameras at the ready, shooting video of wintry scenes both during and after the blizzard.
A two-minute video clip shot during the height of the blizzard follows below, along with several other views during and after the weekend storm.
Want to see more? There are at least two other videos featuring the wind and snow as seen through plate-glass windows; the first is a very brief clip depicting a scene similar to that above, while the second video shows a buried parking lot after the storm on Sunday morning. There's also a video clip showing the wintry conditions in Evansville.
If you weren't winded by shoveling on Sunday, there was also fun to be found in the snow. Madison blogger (and Isthmus employee) Jim Hanson shot three videos of his dog playing in the frozen precipitation, available for viewing here, here, and here.
