Today's image is titled Miss Forward and was photographed by Michael Leland.
Given the recent polar conditions in south-central Wisconsin, the context of this photo pretty much speaks for itself. It was taken on Sunday, Jan. 21, and depicts a jacketed Forward, the replica of the original statue created by Jean Pond Miner in 1895. More information about the statue's are detailed in an artifact profile and highlight provided by the Wisconsin Historical Society.
