Today's image is titled Giant snowman after the sun comes out was photographed by Bo Mackison.
"Just west of Madison I came upon a friendly winter sight -- the biggest snowman I've ever seen, complete with four tractor and truck tires for a hat and red Wisconsin Badger 'we're # 1' foam gloves," writes Mackison about this photo of a sculpture she estimates to be at least 25-feet tall and 15-feet wide. Located on Mineral Point Road not too far west of the Beltline, the snowman boasts four tires for a top hat, an orange traffic cone for a nose, and landscape tubing for a smile.
"This is considered entertainment of the highest sort in our wintry land. Great smile on the guy, hmm?," she asks. "Anyone ever see a bigger snowman???"
