Today's image is titled Full Moon and was photographed by Jill Muller.
Anybody outside over the weekend probably got a nice view of the full moon as it rose over the eastern sky early in the evening. This photo shows the orb shining through the dog days haze lingering over Lake Monona on Sunday, as seen from the rooftop gardens on Monona Terrace. "Got there a little too late," notes Muller in the caption. "Just a few moments before (as I was trying to get the car parked) the moon looked a lot bigger and not as hazy." No worries, there will be another chance to capture the full moon on September 15.
